On Saturday, July 1, The Lowry Foundation and Hangar Club presented Lowry’s first Fourth of July celebration in partnership with Lowry United Neighborhoods and sponsored by Clark’s Market, Lowry Community Master Association, Boulevard One, and Donor Alliance. Food truck fare was had, live music by Better Sensory Perception was enjoyed, and games were played! Over a dozen volunteers joined in, and local business vendors joined the festival to meet and greet the community: Willendorf, Premier Marshall Arts, Chewy’s Bonetique, Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, CREA Results, and Soccer Stars Aurora.

Thanks to all who lent a hand to make this inaugural event happen!

Over 150 people paraded around Great Lawn Park in costumes, on decorated bicycles, and with costumed characters. Prizes were awarded for best costumes and decorations, and gift cards were provided by Chewy’s Bonetique, Walter’s 303 Lowry, Timbuk Toys, and Lowry Beer Garden.
