Inspired by the Lowry Air Force Base Silver Ropes program that began in 1987, The Lowry Foundation proudly continues the spirit of volunteerism in the Lowry neighborhood and area. Participating volunteers have the opportunity to support The Lowry Foundation activities around the Chapel and important causes throughout Lowry and beyond.

Get hands-on and give back to the community by participating in our 2025 volunteer opportunities. Join our community events team and community service projects, or help us around the Eisenhower Chapel! We can also create a special activity for your volunteer group. We are excited to announce that the Lowry Foundation Silver Ropes volunteer program is starting up again this January. Over the past two years, our dedicated Silver Ropes Volunteers have contributed over 1,040 hours to support the essential work of the Food Bank of the Rockies. Your efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of many, and as we enter a new season, the need for our help is greater than ever.
We will be using a new software platform to manage our volunteer activities – Civic Champs! You will be able to sign up for events using an app on your phone, view your volunteer registrations and keep track of the hours you have volunteered!
