Starbright Fund
Direct investment into the Lowry community has been integral to The Lowry Foundation’s work. Since 2002, The Lowry Foundation has provided funding directly to local projects in education, art, theater, and events run by local organizations. The investments were made by way of competitive grants and donations. The intent of this grantmaking (Community Grant Program) has been to direct funds into the community for projects that will enrich life in Lowry.
This year, with the help of seed funding from an anonymous, generous donor, we are launching the Starbright Fund to raise money and create partnerships to invest in our community, whether it be capital improvement projects, building social connections, and/or supporting educational opportunities. As we look into the future, the Foundation is excited to serve as a catalyst that makes things happen in Lowry for years to come.
Summer of 2023, we invited the Lowry community to participate in our community input process to share your aspirations for Lowry, hopes for the future, and what is needed and desired. Over 50 participated in two community input events and over 150 submitted answers to our online questionnaire.
Thank you for telling us your thoughts!
