Business Spotlight – RE/MAX Avenues

Originally from Hollywood, Calif., Derek has been in real estate for over 30 years and believes in placing people in homes that help them grow, thrive, and feel safe. He conducts his business with integrity, experience, and heart. Derek’s firm has enabled him to reach his personal goals while giving back to the community.

Derek has lived in Lowry since 1999 and serves on the Board of Directors for the Lowry Redevelopment Authority. He has gotten to know The Lowry Foundation through this work. He said, “The Foundation has always served as the Lowry community liaison. I truly embrace the mission of the Foundation and all the many things it does for our community.” Derek also supports Knock Knock Angels, a non-profit that helps people transitioning out of homelessness into their first home.

Derek shared that he is hopeful that we can grow as a community after navigating the rough waters of the last few years. He believes we can find our shared strengths to become stronger together.

Derek is the Past President Denver Board of Realtors®, serves on the Boards of the Lowry Redevelopment Authority, Lowry Business Alliance, Knock Knock Angels, and is Alliance Certified Ally.
