About Olivia Goodreau

Her parents grew worried when second-grader Olivia Goodreau began having body aches, brain fog, headaches, and other symptoms that persisted over many months.  After visiting over 55 doctors in a period of 18 months and undergoing an array of tests, Olivia was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2013.

What Olivia discovers through her journey with a chronic illness, and what she has been sharing with the world, is that inside of every predicament is also a possibility. She has turned her physical challenges and emotional hardships into an engaged life of advocacy for others. Olivia is the brilliant young founder of the LivLyme Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to children and their families struggling with Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. The organization also supports the work of researchers and scientists who are dedicated to finding effective treatments and cures for tick-borne diseases

Olivia also invented the free global app called TickTracker, which has over 15,000 users worldwide and in multiple languages, the Tickmojis App, and recently launched her latest free app, LongHaulTracker. Olivia has given grants to children and to scientific institutions; testified to Congress and presented at multiple institutions and organizations; received numerous awards; has held four annual LivLyme Summits; has interned at a handful of universities; and has been featured on local and national tv, and in over 25 magazine and newspaper articles.
