The Lowry Foundation Community Outreach

#KeepLowryStrong Relief Fund

The Lowry Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the #KeepLowryStong COVID-19 Relief Fund. The #KeepLowryStrong fund is a community outreach program designed to help alleviate hardship to Lowry residents, employees of Lowry businesses, and the families of students attending school in Lowry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Community Grants Program

The Lowry Foundation has given thousands of dollars in community grants to help fund exciting and creative local projects in education, art, theater and events. The intent of the Community Grants Program is to redirect funds into the community for projects that will enrich life at Lowry. The Lowry Foundation participates in events throughout the year which help to partially fund these grants.

Silver Ropes Volunteer Program

In May of 1987, the Lowry Air Force Base Chaplains launched the Silver Ropes program to give the young Air Force men and women enlisted at Lowry the opportunity to engage in a wide range of service projects both within Chapel #1 and also out in the community. The Silver Rope aiguillette was worn with pride by members who participated as ushers, lectors, choir members and in activities throughout the Denver community.
